Welcome to Operation: Climate Control!

Welcome to Operation: Climate Control, the game that allows you to get to grips with climate change.

For Students: We give you a chance to tackle climate change yourself in teams. Can you do better than the other teams in your class, or other schools? Are you able to make the tough choices to make sure we all have a better future?

For Teachers: Operation: Climate Control is designed to comply with the Key Stage 4 requirements for learning about climate change. Designed for use in the class room, it allows teachers to choose the scenario that they wish their students to attempt.

The Operation: Climate Control game has been funded by the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) as part of the Climate Challenge Fund, which aims to "educate, excite and inspire others so that we can start working together to tackle climate change".

The game is free for use by schools and other educational institutions in England.

How To Play the Game

1. Create A Game: Operation: Climate Control is a multiplayer game so the first thing you need to do is create a new game for the players to join.
On this page, as the teacher, you get to choose which of the scenarios you would like your students to play and create a password to ensure that only your students get to play.

2. Go to the Supervise Page: Once you have created a game you will automatically go to the Supervise page. This page gives you the information about your game and who is playing it, along with the link to send your students to so they can login and play the game.

3. Play the Game: This is the page you will send your students to so they can login and join the game you created.
